Sandra Blevins is the founder and director of CREATE Community Cape St Claire, LLC. She has been practicing visual arts ever since she can remember. She is currently enrolled and completing the Milan Art Institute’s Mastery Program. Her original acrylic and oil paintings have been exhibited at the Chesapeake Art Center’s Women’s History Month exhibits (2024 and 2025), Wimsey Cove Framing and Fine Art Printing gallery, and at the Maryland Federation of Art’s Interwoven Worlds APIMEDA exhibit at the Circle Gallery in historic downtown Annapolis. Sandra also regularly collaborates with local area poets and other artists for the Annapolis Art Alliance’s annual Poetry and Pictures event. You can also find her selling original artwork at local markets such as the Annapolis Holiday Market around Christmas time. 

Sandra also holds a PhD in Physics, completed her dissertation at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore studying the role of water in planet formation around young, Sun-like stars. She worked at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, in Earth Sciences, over the past decade while dedicating her love, energy, and time to her family and art in Cape St. Claire, Annapolis, Maryland.
